MOVEMENT AS MEDICINE

Media and society have taught us to focus on what the body looks like. To use movement (exercise) as a means to an end: achieve the idealized standard of what a body is "supposed to look like." We know there's not one way. We know that beauty is innate within us all. We know that the hyper-fixation on what the body looks like is a distraction from embracing the true power and wisdom the body holds. We believe movement is the key to unlocking that power and wisdom.

MEET THE FOUNDER: Sarah Joy Gaines

For the last decade, Sarah has been a vocal advocate for inclusivity and accessibility in the wellness industry, teaching movement around the world, and building brands, communities, and transformative experiences for joyful well-being.

With a Master's in Women, Gender, Spirituality & Social Justice, Sarah aims to create an equitable world of well-being where folks feel connected to themselves, their purpose, their community, and the world around them. She has been featured in People, USA Today, Business Insider, and more for her pushback of what wellness is "supposed" to look like, encouraging a shift of focus to feeling good from within.
